Overview

Untold partnered with a private bank to transform their marketing and lead management processes with the help of HubSpot. The primary objectives were to automate marketing tasks, ensure compliance with privacy regulations, and streamline event management and lead tracking.

Actions Taken

  1. CRM Database Compliance: We conducted workshops to align the bank’s CRM database with privacy and GDPR regulations, utilizing several out-of-the-box HubSpot tools:

    • Privacy & consent options at the contact level.
    • Consent options on forms.
    • Email marketing subscription settings.
    • HubSpot cookie banner.

  2. Event Management Automation: To streamline the management of events, we developed automation templates using HubSpot’s automation builder:

    • These templates manage invitations, reminders, confirmations, and follow-ups automatically.
    • The event communication flow is set up correctly for each event with minimal effort due to the templates.
    • Different templates were created for various types of events to ensure smooth and consistent management.

  3. Optimized Lead Management: Lead management within HubSpot was optimized through automation:

    • Lead statuses are automatically adjusted based on actions taken by contacts.
    • Contacts enter automated follow-up flows based on actions like form submissions or booking of appointments.
    • Contacts are assigned to different offices and personalized email flows based on criteria such as financial capability, location, and information they leave on forms.

  4. Integration of Social Media and Advertising Platforms: We connected all social media channels and advertising platforms to HubSpot for comprehensive reporting:

    • Detailed quarterly and annual reports track which channels generate the best leads.
    • Attribution reporting helps determine which channels perform best.
    • Granular analysis of campaign performance on different channels within HubSpot.

Results

The private bank significantly improved operational efficiency through HubSpot, enabling seamless alignment between marketing and sales processes via automated lead statuses. The automation of event management processes resulted in more efficient handling of events, from registration to follow-up.

By implementing inbound marketing strategies and thorough tracking, the private bank gained valuable insights into optimal marketing budget allocation and saw a significant increase in lead generation by X%.
